Cecy's brow arched as she listened to Julian. She still wasn't convinced by she wasn't goign to push the issue anymore. He seemed convinced that nothng would happen to her or her brother during this little venture. "If you say so."

When the comment about being cautious came up she shot Julian a look that said I doubt it but didn't say anything. It was still her opinion that vampires couldn't be truted at all. She waved her hand in a dismissive fashion rolling her eyes.

As Julian went back into the club for another drink Cecy moved from where she was to look more fully over the city. Grant it she couldn't see too much given the height of the buildings but it was enough to keep a look out while she awaited Julian's return.

The night had been very unexpected. Had originally smelled and sensed three different species (4 including the humans) and had not came into a conflict. Yet. Once the bartender set his drink down in front of him, Julian picked it up and walked towards the front door. He set his drink down on the counter before he went out. As he told the "security" that he would be right back, Julian retrieved his phone from his pocket and dialed the number from his memory.

As he dialed, Julian stepped around the corner in the entrance of an alleyway beside the club. Slightly out of earshot of humans. The familiar voice spoke after a few rings, and asked what he wanted. Not very friendly. He knew the procedure by heart. Even if it had been a couple hundred years. "Julian Blane. Paris. 12 A.D. Number 02-1624. Code 3L. I need to borrow my book for a couple of days. Payment upfront and extra for an immediate meeting," Julian said, quickly and quietly. The voice on the other end said the confirmation code, then one word. Where. "Downtown Los Angeles. Go behind 209 Front Street. Take the walkway beside it to go around back. And make it quick."

Julian closed his cell phone as he walked around the corner to head back up to the balcony. He picked his drink up from the "security" and went up to find Cecilia.

Cecy watched Julian exit the club from the balcony. Her hearing was definately better than the humans roaming around and easily heard what he was saying to the voice on the phone. Well at least he wasn't giving details. Of that she was happy. So far he was keeping everything every discreat.

She leaned back against the balcony and raised her head to look at the sky...or what could be seen of it thanks to the lights. She waited for Julian to rejoin her tossing her water bottle into the air slightly and catching it easily without having to look at it.

As soon as he appeared on the balcony again, Cecy simply spoke without looking at him. "How long?"

Julian made it up the stairs with his drink and saw Cecilia leaned against the wall tossing her bottled water. Once he reached her, she asked how long, without looking at him. Julian smiled. He should have known she would listen in.

He leaned against the rail in front of her, to face her. "6 hours. Give or take a few minutes. Behind my place. She knows her way around. Is there anything you'd like to know? You have around 6 hours to do whatever you wish."

Cecy looked at Julian now. Six hours... That would be a long time to muddle over her thoughts and try to figure out if she was doing the right thing. She wondered if this would end up horribly and if Max would agree with this.

"Where's your place?" Cecy asked. She was sure the vampire knew her way around. Most immortals did. Good memories and good sense of direction. "And exactly how do you know we can trust her once she smells that I'm not just another lycan?"

Where's your place?

If Julian did not know better, he could have taken that the wrong way. He smiled and shook his head at the immature thought. "A couple of blocks that way," as he pointed up the street, "However, that's not where I'd like you to be. She has very good senses and extremely paranoid. Even ones she's known for years. I have a car you can take while I meet with her. Unless you want to chance it at my place. She won't cause trouble but the price will go up, most likely."

Cecy glanced down the street with a raised eyebrow. A couple blocks away didn't really tell her anything. She mentally shrugged as she thought that it didn't matter anyway. She arched her brow once again when Julian informed her that this vampire was paranoid. "A paranoid vampire...just what the world needs," Cecy said rolling her eyes.

A car...okay so driving wasn't an issue for Cecy. She knew just fine how to drive. Problem came with getting a licence...Parents were usually needed for a 16 year old to get one and even then it was only a permit. Such a hassle. "It's a no with the car," Cecy said thinking it would be so much more of a hassle to get caught driving around the city without a licence. "And I'd prefer not to be around a vampire if I can help it. I'll be at my place waiting on you. You can meet me there," Cecy replied simply.

Cecilia seemed thoughtful for a moment then commented on Helen being paranoid. Julian couldn't hold back the smirk that reached his face.

To meet at her place didn't seem like a bad idea. "Sounds like a plan to me. So what would you like to do while we wait? Dance, run, feed, or something else that would take up our time?"

"Good," Cecy said with a nod as she downed the rest of her water. Cecy couldn't help her smirk this time. "I haven't quite got all the dancing out of my system yet, so dancing," she replied.

"Umm. Right. Well, see the thing is," Julian stammered, "I may be a couple thousand years old but I spent most my time training, fighting or hiding. What I'm trying to say is....I don't know how to dance. Well, the modern dance, that is."

Tonight was the first time in hundreds of years that Julian blushed. Embarrassement. Wonderful.

Cecy's eyebrow arched as she listened to Julian stammer. Was he tongue tied or something? Perhaps she had struck a nerve or something. When he finally said he couldn'd dance with modern music her mouth twitched for a couple of seconds before breaking out into a grin and she began to giggle.

"Serious? Have you never come to clubs before tonight?" Cecy asked now clearly amused.

Cecilia began to giggle. She was laughing at him. Julian made a failed attempt not to blush. He shifted uncomfortably, leaned against the wall and crossed his arms across his chest. "Yes. I've been to many bars, pubs, and modern clubs. Just, um, never found the time to dance. And before you ask, no, I do not have a boring lifestyle."

Inside, Julian could hear the upbeat music blaring and humans enjoying their short life. Maybe I should have gotten out more.

Cecy stilled her laughter as she watched Julian shift uncomfortably. Funny how someone as old as he was could still get uncomfortable. Her smile stayed in place as she listened to his responce. "You never found time to dance?" Cecy asked in disbelief. She'd been hunted most of her life and still found time to dance. Seriously? She didn't quite believe the not having a boring life line.

"Would you like to try to learn?" Cecy asked. She asked in a way that said she didn't think he could figure it out.

Julian momentarily glared at the youth, who apparently found it amusing that he had never danced. "No, I have never found the time. I apologize for not being 'hip' enough for your interest, however, I was slightly busy as a crumbling world and society was being led by vile, power hungry and particularly strange men and women," he replied with narrowed eyes, still quite embarrassed.

Julian allowed his eyes to wander for a moment to wonder if he really wanted to be made a fool of tonight. In public. He closed his eyes and tilted his head to the side, taking in the silence. "Yes, Cecilia. I would like to learn how to dance. Would you be so kind as to teach me?" Julian suddenly had an image of Cecilia and himself holding each other close to a rather slow, beautiful song. Julian had to violently shake his head to rid his brain of the "vision" he had just recieved. Do not make this weird, Julian, he thought to himself, She's only a female with slightly better social skills than you do. Beautiful female though.
