The last time he was here, the 'indians' were the only peoples to greet you. How times changed; even with immortality, such things never ceased to bewilder him. The life taken from him. The one thrust upon him. One seemed a far off dream. The other, a nightmare.
Still. It was pointless to dwell in the past. Especially if all you had was an endless 'future'.
The ship arrives in the dock. It's well into the night. This was far from a luxury liner. No movies and snacks on this trip. Somewhere in Europe, he was able to barter passage, in exchange for his unique work ethic; he quite literally did the work of twelve men. And, ate like fifteen.
He was the sole figure on the ship's deck as it eased its massive girth into the pier. In a somber silence, he watched the city's light grow brighter with each inch. Besides him, already packed and prepped, was an army green duffel sack. It'd obviously been with him a while, judging by its condition. In his grip, the final section of a Newport.
It only takes a half an hour for the docking to finish. It took nowhere near that long for him to disembark and move into the city. Cities in themselves were not new to him, nor was he ignorant of them. No, a shrewd, worldly man, was he. Still, a rogue through and through, his heart lie in the sacred solace of shadows. To be apart from the whole, is what made him whole. That...and the company of women. Well, there were somethings one couldn't do on their own.
Several hours pass, and he entered the moderately decadent hotel room he'd acquired for himself, purposely choosing one near a few clubs. A shower's time later, he was dressed to kill, braided strands tied back, he hit the avenue, heading for the line that was formed outside the Tunnel Nightclub. Anything but a choirboy, he smirked to himself when he saw the variety of women who were also waiting to get inside.

One thing always led to another didn't it? No matter where he went, the air was tainted with the stench of anarchy. It would appear it spread from Budapest and settled quite comfortably in America. No escaping it then, hm? Making his way down the streets, keeping to himself as he stuck his hands into the black trenchcoat he wore, Ezekial mutely pondered as to what the coven here, if it still was functioning, was up to. Most news he had was that the delegates and councils in Budapest argued amongst themselves as to the "appropiate action" to take against his kind. Loner or pack didn't matter. As long as they were exterminated like vermin, one by one.
Glancing about his crowded surroundings, he found himself nearing a nightclub. Ezekial didn't care much for those. Then again he didn't care much for company. He was so used to being on his own for so long. People came and went in his life, no one really stayed for long. Lingering about the area as he briefly scanned the long line, his eyes momentarily settled on a stranger. There was something different about him and his senses told him the man was 'kin but not kin'.
However Ezekial quickly took his gaze away from the person, not wanting to be caught staring. It was just as well, something else was on its way...

The benefit of emitting Lycan pheromones, was that humans of the opposing sex were drawn to you like moths to flame. The hostess, after taking one whiff of his manhood, found herself so inclined to please him, that she allowed him to fade inside without so much as an ID check. As he passed her, her pulse froze for a moment...
Ignorant to the man who was not truly a man, Lazarus slips into the darkness, those eyes pierced the blackness of the club like a flashlight. Thus, he easily spotted the bar, and approached, ordering himself a shot, and a beer. Yes, nothing earthshaking, but then the night was young.
Seated soon after, he gradually found himself in the company of a few young women. Some of whom were in college. Some working girls. Some, just here to forget their husbands. And, if that was the cse, he was more than willing to assist. One in particular positioned herself closer to him than the others; apparently, she was the most smitten of the gaggle.
He smirked, as he pulls out a newport, and lights it, making sure to hold her gaze with his own. "....Becky, huh? That's a cute name..." Big Bad Wolf, he was. Becky giggles, and thanks him. He then offered to by her a drink. She happily accepts, as Lazarus raises his hand, signaling the tender with a wiggle of his finger.

Through the air that New York offered its mortals, Ezekial caught whiff of something. More or less sensed it travelling at an accelerated rate. There was quite a bit of this scent, which now was becoming pungent to his nose. He could feel his body slightly tingle in anticipation. One part of his brain told him to run, he wouldn't be able to handle the oncoming swath of... 'Vampires'. However the other half wanted him to remain rooted to the spot. Ezekial wasn't going to do anything foolish and stand around. It felt as if they were coming straight here.
Forcing himself to move, he slipped inside the nearby nightclub when the hostess wasn't paying attention, too busy eyeing a few men. Once inside he remained alongside the walls, sticking to what shadows there were. Ezekial had no intention mingling with anyone, he was waiting to see what was going to take place soon. He only hoped nothing too drastic happened. Yet his instincts told him that wasn't going to be the case.

On the contrary, Lazarus held every intention of mingling. And, while no single mortal woman could endure a Lycan's sexual prowess...several at the same time could. By now, his arm was around Becky, while Susan was busy rubbing her foot up and down his shin. Under the table, of course. If you judged by his face, nothing at all was happening.
Then, all of a suddenly, it stunk. And not a normal stink. That stink. The one he hated above all else... "So, like, how long are you in the city...?" Becky finally worked up the courage to ask the older man holding her. "Uh... not.... too long, babe..." So alarming was this scent, it broke up his ages old Mack. Something... no, not something. One of them was nearby.
Eyes cut left and right, searching the cascade of shifting hips and bosoms. No, it wouldn't be easy; his kind excelled at hiding. He rose a second shot glass to proudly formed lips, and let the liqud fire rushed towards his trusty, metallic gut.
What the f**k was going on here? Luck? Hm... ok. But, there were two kinds of luck. Wasn't there...?

A scream sounded off, followed by the doors bursting open. Four trench-coated, gun carrying, leather clad men and women came into the club. They fired a shot in the air, allowing several mortals to escape before they bolted the doors shut. The pale undead party crashers prowled the area, apparently looking for something or someone. But who and for what? The tallest athletic looking one approached Lazarus. The humans all terrified or too drunk to make sense of what was happening all seemed to back away leaving a wide space and dividing the floor in half.
The vampire spoke low, slowly glancing around the room before putting his cold blue eyes on the animal. "All right Lycan, you coming with us quietly? Or do we got to bring you on a leash? ... Don't want to make this situation any worse for these unhappy humans."

Amid the throb of bass, the upset of the crowd was like an echo in his ear. Murmurs of men with guns, followed by a loud gun's report, and the 'Lycan' was on high alert, mind taking momentarily off the scent from before. As the crowd pasrt, all that remained in time was he. He alone refused to budge and give into those four.
Even as one approached him, Lazarus held his position, thinking this little more than a robbery by these pale, and obviously, Vampiric foursome. It stunned him secretly when he was singled out and called... a "Lycan'? A term he was no familiar with. He rose his eyes to meet the Vampire who offered him the 'choice'.
"....You should learn to respect your Elders, Boy..." A small warning, not that the Vampire would be keen to it, but he'd hinted at his most likely being older than the Vampire took him for. It took a whole lot of Silver to put him down. Way more than the gunman was gonna have a chance to put in him.
He didn't look it, but... he wasn't toally unarmed...
